Welcome to Runcato's land, we distribute ethnic art-crafts, purifying incenses for aromatherapy, herbal tinctures and operate Jungle Journeys for culturally authentic Indigenous tourism. All our products come from the Amazonian Rainforest and the Andean Highlands of Peru.

The purpose of Runcato E.I.R.L is to promote a long-term relationship with the indigenous cultures of our country Peru, built on mutual respect, trust and solidarity ; supporting small producers and not maximising our profit at their expense so in that way contributing to preserve their traditions, knowledge, religion system and all their ancient expressions as well as their tribal lands. In fact we want to make a tribute to the last heroe and indian leader from the amazonian region : Runcato the Rebel

We want to be linked to a conciousness that supports ecological sustainability and the preservation of the Rain forest which is paramount to our future generations. The first step towards this is to open our hearts, as this is not only an intellectual realization but that of our mind, body and spirit harmoniously. Now more than ever is a time for recognition and change, to free ourselves from the structures and systems that bind us to a selfish way of living that is destroying our planet, our mother earth, our Pachamama.

Additionally we have been supporting to Shipibo-Conibo children that emigrated to Lima (capital of Peru) along with their parents since 2004 with a breakfast program for two years and currently with a lunch program that includes feeding fourty seven children and mothers who are breast feeding infants. This food program has provided the only daily nutritional meal that many of these children have access to. As we work with seventeen mothers of these children for the accomplish of the program their role as women is highly valued for which they are empowered in their community. As Runcato E.I.R.L we purchase the art-crafts produced by these women to include them in our product line , this is a direct strategy for poverty mitigation and developing producer`s independence.

At the beginning this program was fully financed by Runcato E.I.R.L. but because of economical restrictions it was about to be cancelled untill that we met to Oscar Miroquesada who is the founder of The Heart of the Healer foundation, this wonderful people are supporting this program right now and is deeply committed to exploring solutions to the extremely complex social, political, anthropological and practical challenges that place these beautiful people on the edge of disappearing from our world entirely.
